Margaret Casey

Associate

Maggie is a strong negotiator whose practice is focused on civil litigation, real estate transactions and land use. Her clients include property owners who need help resolving landlord-tenant issues, navigating development plans with local governments, or pre-purchase title and diligence reviews.

She efficiently advocates for her clients with a high success rate and helps them understand their situation and options, including whether to resolve disputes outside of court or through litigation. Maggie’s clients value her transparency, communication, and honesty.

Maggie began her legal career as a law clerk for the Hon. Judge Brinegar in the Eighth Judicial District before entering private practice. During law school, Maggie served two years on the editorial board of the Water Law Review, and she was the President of the Natural Resource and Environmental Law Society. Maggie clerked for the Colorado Supreme Court and the Environmental Protection Agency.

A Colorado native, Maggie was born in Durango and raised in the San Juan Mountains, where she grew up running, kayaking, mountain biking, and skiing. Although she enjoys every season in Colorado and its corresponding sport, her first love is skiing. Maggie is an assistant coach for the high school Nordic competition team at the Aspen Valley Ski Club
