Katie’s practice focuses primarily on water rights and local government representation. Her clients include special districts, water conservancy districts, and private property owners on the West Slope. Katie is experienced in navigating the often-complex world of water rights administration in Colorado, including Water Court adjudications, well permitting issues, and conducting water rights due diligence in connection with real estate transactions.

Born and raised in Denver, Katie spent every summer of her childhood in Grand Lake, living in the family cabin that was built by her great-great grandfather. She has a deep love of the American West, the Colorado mountains, and exploring the great outdoors on foot or by bike. When she is not working, Katie can usually be found spending time with her husband and son or with her nose in a good book.
