Genevieve LaMee – Legal Assistant

Genevieve is a Paralegal at Johnston Van Arsdale Martin. She is primarily based out of the Glenwood Springs office. She supports legal functions for the firm, primarily as relates to water law, general business advisement, and real estate.

Genevieve is a fifth-generation resident of the Roaring Fork Valley. Her great grandfather owned the first ever gas station in Aspen. Genevieve and her twin brother, however, were raised in the small town of Creede in the house behind the Creed Repertory Theatre. She moved to Glenwood Springs in 2014.

Genevieve went on to study at the University of Colorado Boulder. There she acquired a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies with a focus in ancient art and literature of the Mediterranean. In 2021, she earned a Paralegal Certificate from the Center for Legal Studies at Metro State University in Denver.

She returned to the area in the fall of 2021 in order to work at JVAM as a legal assistant and moved into a paralegal role in May of 2022. Outside of work, Genevieve is interested in reading/writing fiction, hiking, and spending time with her family (many of whom still live in Colorado). She is also a diehard Denver Nuggets fan.
