JVAM was born out of a mutual interest and passion to provide high-end, professional legal services to people and businesses in the mountain communities of Colorado. Lucas Van Arsdale, Benjamin Johnston, and Casey Martin shared a vision for a modern mountain law practice, a firm purposefully created to better serve its clients and its team members. This vision drove them to establish JVAM in late June 2021.

JVAM assembled an expert team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff in order to offer the highest level of legal service from day one. Today, JVAM’s 16 attorneys and eight support staff help clients at five locations across the Roaring Fork Valley and the Arkansas River Valley.

Their experience across real estate, business, water rights, contracts, leases, litigation, and more areas of the law equips them to serve the broad and unique needs of people who live and do business in our mountain communities. Our attorneys are down to earth people who deliver work that’s cost-effective and worth your investment.
